Individual Members of a Member Group
As a member of an Age Sector Platform member group, you will:
- Become better informed on older people’s issues and Age Sector Platform campaigning areas;
- Receive regular mailings of valuable information on older people’s issues and events;
- Be able to guide the policies and work of Age Sector Platform by nominating people for election to our Executive Committee, voting for your choice at the AGM, and participating in sub-committees of particular interest;
- Gain access to various Age Sector Platform training opportunities;
- Receive invitation to policy consultations;
- Receive a copy of ‘aspire’, the Age Sector Platform members’ newsletter, three times a year;
- Have exclusive access to Age Sector Platform’s members’ only section of this website – consisting of online message boards, members’ polls and members’ photo gallery;
- Benefit from the opportunity to network with other older people’s groups at local and national levels.

If you are not currently a member of an Age Sector Platform member group, you can become a subscriber to Age Sector Platform news by signing up for our e-newsletter. The e-newsletter will provide you with:
- Information regarding Age Sector Platform campaigns and how you can get involved;
- The opportunity to provide evidence and case studies to support Age Sector Platform campaigns;
- Details of Age Sector Platform public events;
- Information regarding public consultations that may be of interest to the older population;
