The first 2010 edition of aspire – Age Sector Platform’s newsletter, is now available to view online!

This edition of aspire provides details of the pensioners' manifesto campaign - supported by Age Sector Platform, National Pensioners Convention (NI), Irish Congress of Trade Unions (NI) and Age Concern Help the Aged NI.  We also have a report from the ‘Have Your Say’ members’ event in November 2009, details on the launch of ‘Safer Ageing’ - the new community safety strategy for older people, and news on some current consultations.

Inside this issue we also have an update on the Commissioner consultation events held in November 2009, information about the All Ireland Inspirational Life Award and details of a transport service for rural areas.
